Meet our staff members.
Hey y’all! I’m Emily and I am just going to tell you a little about myself, first and foremost I have two beautiful dogs that I love to pieces! Tillie is a Great Pyrenees mix and Evvie is the cutest little mutt you’ve ever seen! Aside from loving on them me and my fiance are 100% into crossfit, he is the head coach at a local gym and got me hooked from day one! I love doing anything outdoors and of course eating all the Mexican food I can. I’m from Waco, Texas so you know it was kind of hard getting used to the different Tex-Mex up here but I have grown to love it! I started working here at Normans in December of 2016 and am now the Assistant prom manager and LLOVVEE it! It is seriously so much fun getting to find girls their dress! I’m not going to lie… I have a time or two been emotional because of how happy a bride or prom girl is when they find “the one”. Sometimes there is so much happiness floating around it’s hard not to be overwhelmingly happy with them! This is one of the best jobs a girl could have and I love it! I can’t wait to meet all of our future brides, prom girls, and bridesmaids! Thanks for reading my about me! <3
Christian Douglass hails from Lebanon, Missouri. She graduated with her B.F.A. from Oklahoma City University in 2014 and joined the Norman’s team later that year while completing a Graduate Certificate Program at Missouri State.
As the “Bridesmaids Specialist,” Christian loves seeing all the creative ways brides express their wedding themes through their bridal parties. If there’s one thing she wants brides to know, it’s to embrace their vision and not judge it through anyone else’s eyes–after all, they’ll be the ones looking at the pictures ten years down the road!

Katie began working for Normans in the fall of 2012. She graduated from MSU with a degree in fashion designing and shortly after applied at Normans in hopes of sharing her knowledge and love of fashion with brides. Katie’s favorite bride moment is when the bride first realizes that she has found “the” dress. It all becomes so real at that moment. Outside of making brides dreams come true Katie is involved in helping and teaching at her church. She loves spending time with her family and being the ‘best aunt’. Katie also enjoys geeking out at movies, reading books and doing craft projects.
Hello, I am Katlyn Ashe. I have worked at Normans Bridal since 2013. I graduated from Missouri State University with a degree in Fashion Merchandising and Management. Bridal was always the direction I wanted to go toward with my schooling so being at Normans Bridal has been a dream job for me. My main goal is to always make every bride leave feeling like a stunning beautiful women, even more excited for her big day having just found the perfect dress and to have had an amazing experience that is something she will cherish as a memory for the rest of her life.
I am from a town just north of Springfield, called Fair Grove. It is where I grew up and I love the community environment of a small town so it is where I chose to stay and now live happily with my wonderful husband. Family is something that I value and hold very dear to my heart. An interesting fact about me relating to family is that I do have an identical twin sister who also happens to work in Springfield. So if you see what looks like me around town after consulting with me and it seems like I am being weird or don’t know you, its just that it really is NOT ME and most likely is my twin sister! Luckily it always makes for a good laugh when the customer comes back in and tells me about that. Lastly I will say that faith is how I live daily and a saying that I love to think every morning is “Be obsessively grateful”. I am grateful for everything and everyone in my life and then to have a job that I get to be a small part in someone else’s life in such a big way is something that I am immensely grateful for everyday.
