Quick makeup tips for the girl on the go!

February 12, 2015 by Glenda Ledbetter

close up hairYour world moves fast, and you don’t have time to holdup in the bathroom in front of a mirror all night. But because makeup is such an important part of your appearance, you might feel like you don’t have a choice. You need to look good. At Jovani, we understand. That’s why we supply you with such a large selection of stylish custom made dresses for any occasion. Still, you deserve to look as good as your dress, so here are some quick tips for a fabulous face in five minutes or less.

Start with the foundation. Take about a penny size amount of sunscreen and liquid foundation and apply it to you face like you would lotion. For the best blending, use the same formula for both (EX: oil-free).

A concealer stick is perfect to apply some color to your check bones to eliminate shadows. Apply it in stripes like the ones football players have on TV. Use your finger tips to work the color into your skin which will prevent the makeup from looking cakey, and help it go on smoothly.

Blend dot cream blush onto the apples of your cheeks in a circular motion. Tap the shade onto your eyes and lips which will give a vibrancy to your face, and make it look awake.

Finally, use business card above your upper lashes to apply mascara. Use a wiggle motion, back and forth at the roots, to apply a thick, dark layer of color at the lash line. If you do this, you won’t even need liner! Now head out. The world awaits.
