Amanda and Buddy’s October 24, 2015 Nuptials

If I were to write out a list of every quality I would look for in a spouse, I would be writing a description of my husband. We first met at a wedding and I remember watching him speak to people and thinking that there was something different about him. He exudes a quiet sense of confidence and radiates kindness. I felt drawn to him from the first moment my eyes rested upon him.

From the first moment we began dating it was as if we had known each other for centuries. My old soul was content with this man. We enjoyed all of the same things and could spend hour’s just sitting side by side. We began a relationship that defined the true meaning of love.

Buddy proposed to me on the very park bench where I first fell in love with him. As he knelt down on his knee and began a statement declaring that I was “the one” for him my heart began to grow. We were married in a quiet, private ceremony in the middle of a field under a big tree in late October of ‘14. It was only he and I with the preacher and the vows we had written to one another. I can remember the oddly placed warm breeze blowing the leaves off the tree and the sense of peacefulness that filled the air as he wiped my tears during the ceremony.

Our relationship today is filled with laughter, hunting adventures, fishing tales, taking pictures, updating our home, working in the yard, raising our little guy, traveling and spending as much time together as possible.
