Our Dreamy Destination Wedding!

How we met:It was a Friday night and my sister and I decided to head downtown for a drink. He was with a group of his guy friends standing at the opposite end of the bar. He started to give Rachel the casual “across the bar glance” and we ended up meeting up in the middle of the bar. He asked my sister a question – insert random pick-up line – that I can’t remember. She stops him and says “Well i’m in a relationship but this is my twin sister and she’s single…” Sure! She is my twin sister after all! So that’s how it all began.
We talked for a while after that night at the bar but it casually ended. That timing thing. We ended up re-connecting on Facebook a couple of years later over similar events in our family lives. By that time we were living in separate cities but it wasn’t long until I moved to NYC to be with him.
He proposed over Christmas when we were back in Springfield visiting family. He had texted me while I was shopping with my mom a few days before we were leaving and said “Hey, we’ve had a long week, do you want to get a drink before dinner on Friday night before we leave?” We had a drink at the Hotel Vandivort downtown and he arranged for a staff ?member to video the proposal. He took me by the fireplace for some “photos” and dropped on one knee! After, we walked down the street and met up with our entire family for dinner and champagne to celebrate! We ended the night at the bar where we met after.
