My husband Tanner and I were high school sweethearts after we met back in 2012. I was the new girl in town and he was a small town boy who lived in Stockton, MO his entire life. We were instantly smitten over each other and from the moment he asked me to be his girl, our love began to blossom. I never thought that at only 16 years old I would meet the man I would spend my life with, but love had bigger plans for us. We dated for four years before he proposed to me in the loft of a candle-lit barn on my birthday. Tanner chose the most beautiful ring crafted especially for me because he wanted it to be perfect. Without hesitation, I accepted his proposal and from there we began the process of planning our June wedding.
I had no doubt in my mind that I would find my dream dress at Norman’s Bridal. I signed up for the Dash for the Dress event that was held in October and was one of the first women in line to view the sale dresses. In the midst of trying on gowns, I looked across the room and saw the most beautiful dress I had ever seen. I put it on, took one look in the mirror and automatically knew it was the dress I was going to wear on my wedding day. I was so thrilled to be marrying my best friend in a gown that made me feel beautiful and that I knew my fiancé would love.
Tanner and I tied the knot June 10, 2017 in Stockton, MO surrounded by our closest family and friends. We had the sweetest, most elegant country ceremony filled with lots of love and laughter—it was such a magical day. Our wedding was one of the best days ever, but being married to the love of my life and getting to experience life with him every day is even better!
