How and or where did you meet?
Trey and I meet at Evangel University our freshman year. We had a class together, I thought he was the most annoying guys because he would always make smart remarks towards the professor. I told my friend that I was so annoyed with him! Later in the semester he ended up asking me out to Lambert’s and I told him “no”. He was known as the guy who “kissed them all, dated them all”, which is what his dad taught him. I later realized his “motto” was nothing like the type of guy he was and we fell in love!
How did you get proposed to?
I had flown out to Texas for Christmas break, we had started the day off with Top Golf, where we both realized I can’t golf to save my life. We went and got mani and pedis together and ate at our favorite restaurant. As we left dinner, he has told me that he wanted to take pictures with his new phone and so we went to a resort where he popped the question!
What was your favorite memory from your wedding day?
My favorite memory from my wedding day was spending it with all of the loved ones! Because that was the last day we were able to spend together cause we moved across the country.
What vendors did you use at your wedding?
We used a lot of local venues in Springfield, IL. However, we did use Startler Photography.
What was your experience like at Normans Bridal?
My experience at Norman’s was awesome! I had people from Illinois and Texas fly up to dress shop with me, so I felt pressure to find a dress because everyone had come in town. The first store we went to had nothing close to what I was looking for. Then we stumbled across Norman’s and within ten minuets I had found my perfect dress!
